Another good conspiracy theory shot to hell.

I usually avoid w 7th because of the awful traffic but I'll
have to try it tonight.

I suppose that the idea behind this restriping is that some of the 
commuter traffic can (and should) move to Shepard road.  Does that
mean that they've also cleaned up the timing on the traffic signals
on Chestnut and Exchange so commuters can actually get on Shepard
road quickly?  That's critical if you are going to move traffic
off W 7th onto Shepard road from that end of downtown.

Should I bring up the insanity about not having a south bound connection
to 35E dumping some of this commuter traffic into the downtown in the 
first place?
