The Green Party of St. Paul continues its series of forums on issues of local importance this Tuesday, November 9th, 7 p.m., at Merriam Park Public Library (1831 Marshall Ave. in St. Paul). Popular educator Betsy Barnum will present on the power corporations hold in society and what can be done to put more power back in the hands of the people. Barnum has conducted workshops on corporate person-hood at conferences and events around the country. She is co-authoring a book, due out next spring, on how to end corporate control of our country and world. Barnums insight is particularly relevant in the midst of local fights against Wal-Mart, Clear Channel, and other corporations that have affected land use, jobs, and every other major issue in St. Paul. Barnum currently serves as Chair for the Green Party of Minnesota. She has also served on the steering committees for the Alliance for Democracy in Minnesota and the Womens International League for Peace and Freedom, both working to end corporate domination. www.gpsp.org _____________________________________________ To Join: St. Paul Issues Forum Rules Discussion Email: [EMAIL PROTECTED] _____________________________________________ St. Paul Topics - This Week: Light Rail http://www.mnforum.org/mailman/listinfo/stpaul-topics _____________________________________________ NEW ADDRESS FOR LIST: [EMAIL PROTECTED] To subscribe, modify subscription, or get your password - visit: http://www.mnforum.org/mailman/listinfo/stpaul Archive Address: http://www.mnforum.org/mailman/private/stpaul/
