A group of Twin Cities-area school districts that educate one-third of Minnesota's students say flat state funding has led to widespread employee cuts.
The Association of Metropolitan School Districts estimates that its 26 member districts have collectively shed more than 2,800 employees, including about 2,000 teachers, in the past few years.
