Next Thursday, Dec. 16th, The Ramsey County Citizens Advisory Council will be having a Legislative Breakfast for the Ramsey County Legislative Delegation. All of the legislators in Ramsey County have been invited to hear those of us who struggle with mental illness speak about our needs and concerns and to start a dialogue. The theme of our presentation is "And ... how are the children?"
The breakfast will be at 7:30 am at Wilder Child Care Programs, 911 Lafond in St. Paul. I am honored to be speaking for the Mental Health Advisory Committee. I'm hoping to see a lot of Legislators there. Anyone else that would like to show up is certainly welcome to attend.
