Land use approval for Twin Lakes is on the city council agenda for next Monday -- along with the proposal to expand Rosedale, and approval of the city's tax levy and budget. Twin Lakes is scheduled to be heard at 7:55 p.m. (The budget and tax levy come afterward -- sending a strong message that developers' interests are more important than taxpayers' interests in Roseville.) I asked Mayor Klausing to schedule a hearing on Twin Lakes in January, instead of 4 days before Christmas at the same meeting where we approve the budget. He refused. I hate to ask this, because we should all be able to relax and enjoy the holidays instead of having to fight city hall -- but please come to this meeting if you possibly can. This may be the last chance for people to speak out at a council meeting. If you can't attend, please write or e-mail the city council (even if you've done this already!) to get your opinions into the public record. Or send a written statement that I or others can read at the meeting. Thank you again for your commitment and hard work on this important issue.
