As I remember -- Jules, correct me if I'm wrong -- last spring we adopted by-laws you put together, that provided for a new Ramsey County DFL organization consisting of a Chair, a Secretary & a Treasurer. I was on the CD4 nominating committee, and we recommended a slate consisting of Rod Halverson,Chair; Nancy Rosen, Secretary; and Josh Kammerer, Treasurer. The slate was then voted in by the CD4 convention delegates. So, despite the fact that the CD4 Chair may have been responsible for Ramsey County special elections in the past, that is no longer true. Instead, the Ramsey County Chair, Rod Halverson, will be convening and chairing the meeting on Dec 29th to decide on scheduling and which delegates will be able to vote at the Endorsement Convention for County Commissioner.
