A couple of weeks ago the Citizens Advisory Council (a group of volunteers that work to advise the Ramsey County Commissioners on the best way to meet the social service needs of the people in Ramsey County) held a Breakfast for the County Legislative delegation. I posted the speech I gave at that breakfast about my own struggles with mental illness and statistics on mental illness in Minnesota.
I received a lot of feedback on my speech. I have asked the other members of the committees that spoke if I could put their speeches on this list. And they have agreed. So it will take me a few days to do it because I only have two posts a day but I wanted to share their words with you. I will title each post with the name of the topic. These are very committed people and what they have to say is important. I hope you take the time to read their speeches.
