I wonder about the need to discredit the work of respected political leaders

Did not mean to discredit him. I and those who have been around understand his position and what he has done. Just meant to explain that he is OLD SCHOOL politician has not been a major figure in the public eye and those in the city (or lots of them) do not know who he is from Adam.

Compared to Finney who was in the paper almost weekly, Latimer is a non-factor in the eyes of many in the city. Does that mean that he won't be able to turn money towards Chris from the "Political Insiders" absolutely not, he will be able to dig into the OLD SCHOOL money, Finney on the other hand will dig into the NEW SCHOOL money.

Actually it's a very smart move by Chris to get his fathers old friend (George), and one he worked with himself when he was on the council and had such a huge base of support (Finney) . Will it get his almost Kelly like views past the Delegation and an endorsement? Who is to say at this point of the game, if past history is anything (his attempt at congress) not likely. If those in delegates in the West End have anything to do with it I would doubt it too.

So who gets the best out of this deal? CHRIS COLEMAN. Who looses what political capital they may have had or have Latimer and Finney. Course Finney spent 75% of his when he said he wasn't going to run, but I bet that his data base of people will be made available to the Coleman campaign and I will be getting Coleman Lit in no time flat.

Hope I clarified my position.... Nothing against George or Da Chief I just think he and Finney are hooking themselves to the wrong train. Chris wants to be his father and unfortunately he is not, never will be and it's hard to try to fill such big shoes.
