Remember Tim: Bonds are for Buildings, Levies are for Learning.

You can use the money that School districts have to go to the voters and ask them to raise taxes for learning in the classroom - a levy. Those funds can be used for teacher salaries and your operating budget. Levies increase the districts general funds.

Bonds can only be used for Buildings. Roof, improvements, new schools, whatever. Bonds increase the districts Capital Imrovement Funds.
