The cities smoking ban.
Over this very issue is why I made my short-lived
departure from this group.
We don't have a ban in St. Paul. We probably never
will. I still contend that it's the fault of Dave
Thunes' bungling of the issue. Andy Driscoll's support
of Thune was deplorable. I was the only one that had
this issue down cold and correctly predicted it's
outcome when it was the issue of the day.
I still contend that the first thing to do, when
trying to install a law that will, possibly harm a
financial hair on the businessman's head is:
GET RID OF KELLY!
I think that Mr. Thune, Driscoll and Tim Erickson owes
me an engraved apology for the treatment they handed
out to me for simply telling it like it was and is
now.
The chickens have come home to roost, as I correctly
predicted.
