I am not sure why John writes, "So, Dr. Nelson wanted GSE shut down? That is what happened, right? " Maybe John didn't follow this case. Dr. Nelson fought, with Bruce Hendry, to keep the GSE plant open to the bitter end. The plant only closed, not through any effort of Mayor Kelly, but because the losses of running the plant, even with a $2 million a year state subsidy, simply became unsustainable. If the owners had not shut down the plant to stem their losses, they would have been forced into bankruptcy court. No John, Dr. Nelson didn't want the plant shut down. He still wanted to collect his $1 million a year from the state in the way of the Ethanol Subsidy. Dann Dobson [EMAIL PROTECTED]

So, Dr. Nelson wanted GSE shut down? That is what happened, right? Interesting way of shuttering your business. John Harris camden, mpls __________________________________ Do you Yahoo!? Yahoo!
