Correction Bob,

Ortega staffer not campaign manager.

You seem to be saying Bob that we DFL'ers should talk about DFL family
secrets in such a public forum. There are times when discretion is well
advised but let's face it the issues we are talking about are well known
already by the loyal (disloyal?) opposition.

You have to look no further than the Mayor Kelly "Dear Fellow Democrat"
letter mailed a week ago that went into some detail about Chris Coleman's
record as a DFL elected official and what a field day the Kelly Campaign
will have with that record if Coleman is the DFL endorsed candidate.

The DFL endorsement process is trial run for the primary and general
elections were DFL activists can consider the relative strengths and
weaknesses of those seeking to represent the party. These discussions are
not self inflicted wounds, but rather healthy debate. They give us an idea
of what lies ahead before we have committed to a "champion".

West 7th St DFL'er
