Just to restate the theme of my previous post, I think it's great to share ideas on the forum.


I just think that at this point, it is counterproductive for fellow DFLers to belittle one another, or hit on the same issue over and over, without much new information. There is a point at which this approach goes from being informational to an unproductive attack.

On Randy Kelly's letter, I would just add that the Pioneer Press reported the letter was sent to just active DFLers. The DFL wouldn't allow Kelly to have a list of Convention delegates for this year, since he was not seeking endorsement. So Kelly sent the letter to last year's caucus attendees.

I can count on one hand the number of caucus attendees I know of from any year that are even potentially Kelly supporters. So what does Kelly have to gain by sending ANY letter to this group? I'd suggest he sent it to influence the outcome of the DFL endorsement, if possible.

And I also found it potentially quite significant that, as we agree, Kelly saved his sharpest political attack for Chris Coleman...take from that what you will...
