To bring this back to the River City, isn't there a charter school that recently started here in St Paul that supports and teach Intelligent Design?

OK - we're starting to reach (thanks for making the effort Eric :-) ) to keep this on topic. In fact, unless anyone has knowledge of a serious effort to mandate the teaching of Intelligent Design in St. Paul science classrooms, then I don't think we really have an issues here. Rather, we have a "philosophy of science" discussion, which might be more appropriate in another venue.

This started as a legitimate topic, with connections to the DFL convention, but it has strayed as some topics tend to do (which is fine).

But, now that we have recognized that it has strayed. Let's get back on topic.

Thanks to everyone for their reflections on the convention, they have been very interesting.

Best wishes,
