Then why is he funding robocalls stoking it:

<http://www.klas-tv.com/Global/story.asp?S=9192396>

And state GOP leaders explicitly making connections between Obama and
Bin Laden

It's no wonder you get people up talking about how they won't vote for
Obama because he's an arab terrorist.

And this <http://dcist.com/2008/10/17/mccain_to_protect_virginians_from_o.php

Oh sure, they just innocently shaded a cropped clip of Osama bin Laden
to to make it closer to Obama's skin color.

Ayup!

Please. We may be opposed to you politically, that doesn't make us
stupid.

If McCain wanted to stop this nonsense, he could. by having the
campaign focus on their policies and their plans, not Ayers. Hell even
Joe the (not so much a) Plumber admitted that yes, under Obama's tax
plans, he would have lower taxes than under McCain's.

Hell, McCain is explicitly telling me he's raising my taxes, while
giving a tax cut to people way above my pay grade.

(No? What do you THINK will happen when he starts taxing health care
benefits? My taxes go up. If the folks I work for drop health care
benefits instead of paying more payroll taxes, my healthcare costs
skyrocket.)

I pay about $100/month four our healthcare, because the state was able
to use it's clout as representing a very large number of people to get
insurance companies to sell it to the state cheaply.

If you work for a large company you probably get the same benefit.

McCains plan would throw everyone whose employer stopped offering the
benefit out into the consumer healthcare market. You against the
insurance company. Another "Yer on yer ownership" moment.

Any one of you having to pay for all of your health care knows what
that's like. It ends up not health care, but catastrophic coverage.

My brother and his wife just had to declare bankruptcy because she was
rear-ended in an accident. Her health care plan won't cover it because
it is the responsibility of her car insurance to cover it.

The car insurance company initially paid for the treatments, then
said, "oopsie, give us the money back! That accident didn't hurt you,
it re-injured your back after a previous injury. It's a pre-existing
condition, give us the money back. Now."

They didn't have the 25K to pay it back, let alone the bills that THEN
came from the doctors and the hospital asking for even more because,
well, the costs for someone who is uninsured is about 25%-30% higher
than someone who is.

The single leading cause of bankruptcy in this country is uncovered
health care costs, and McCain wants to make it worse, by forcing MORE
people into the individual market, where the odds are stacked even
more against the consumer. Plus, since he just hateses the regulation,
he hateses it, those companies will pretty much have a free hand in
ensuring they maximize profit.

It's very good for the insurance companies, that's for certain. Maybe
that's why one of their lobbyists is currently his Campaign Vice-Chair.

You no longer have to wonder why the rest of the G8 looks at America
which spends 3-6 times what they do on health care for what is in many
cases inferior levels of service and asks themselves "Are those people
insane??? Don't they understand what a drag on their economy those
gargantuan costs are?"
