I hate to use this list as tech support, but I'd appreciate a few people in the know filling me in.
The new Mac Mini's come with a MiniDVI and Mini DisplayPort connectors on the back. Is it possible to connect two monitors in an extended desktop configuration like this? (NVIDIA GeForce 9400M graphics) (Do the mini's still come with slower hard drives?) The new iMacs, same question. They come with a Mini DisplayPort. Is that capable of running an extended desktop with one other monitor? (NVIDIA GeForce 9400M or ATI Radeon HD 4670) As lovely as it would be to have a new MacPro on the desk, Macs will feature thought control before I could afford one. The machine I have now (dual 2ghz G5) will do everything I want it to, other than the steady stream of new software going intel-only, so I see no reason to invest in a quad-core anything. Thanks for the thoughts. Anything else I should be aware of with the new Macs would be appreciated. Aside from considering myself to be a "power user" in days past, the Mini's look like they'll do the job.
