i ordered one of the i7 based processor 27" imacs. i don't know if i'll need
an extra monitor or not

if you're cost conscious, check the refurbs at the apple store, there was
one highish end 24" imac, with $850 knocked off.
pretty big real estate, and afaik, dual monitors is de riguer for advanced
gfx artists
