I don't think you understand who the Tea Partiers are or what they want. Most haven't been involved in politics before, and most want a smaller federal government with limited powers. There are pretenders, such as the third party candidate for US Senate in Nevada. (Actual Tea Partiers back Angle, the Republican candidate.)
Most local "Tea Parties" are organized by women that are political neophytes. Nothing wrong with that. In fact, I prefer them over the professional politicians we send to Washington, D.C., especially if their goal is to drastically reduce spending and federal power. Two years is a long way out, but it seems more likely to me that Hillary will pursue the #1 spot. Voters have soured on Obama and things won't get any better for him with a Republican House. He's too much of an ideologue to do as Bill Clinton did in '94 and usurp many of the programs previously espoused by the Republicans. Hillary can capture the nomination by saying she can better work with Republicans than the Bamster.
