Michele Bachman on extending the tax cuts on single wage earners earning $250K or more:
BACHMANN: ....<snip>"...and it's $250,000 in gross sales for their business. "

Someone this innumerate shouldn't be allowed anywhere near a position of power. Even I, a radical communist socialist islamo gubmint employee leech knows the difference between gross and net income....

And no, it's STILL not a 'massive tax increase'

Nobody seems to be paying attention to the fact that those cuts will all end shortly if they just stand around and argue. Basic inaction is the same as action, you just don't get to control the outcome. We hired those people to work it out, and I'd like them to actually work, or cut off the permanent pensions, the health care, and their ability to vote their own raises, until they do.

it's an increase of 3%...rolling back to the levels it was four years ago, when Bush instituted tax cuts to pay for his wars.

Thar's tha trubble raht thar - there are far too many people who don't see any problem with "Bush instituted tax cuts to pay for his wars." *sigh*

Honestly, I don't understand why all these deficit hawks and fiscal conservatives are for any tax cuts at all...if we're supposed to sacrifice to reduce the national debt for our children's sake, we should ALL be paying MORE taxes right now, not less.

When times get tough, capitalistic fascists are told to go shopping, HTH
