Except that the A4 isn't a Jetta, and the two cars have not shared the same
underpinnings in some time.

The current Jetta uses the A6 chassis, the current Audi A4 uses the B8 chassis.
There are a couple shared engines, more in Churmany than the US, but one of
the biggest differences is the A4 Avant is an AWD vehicle, the Jetta Sportwagen
is only FWD.

Build quality and 'fit and finish' are other areas where the VW pales in
comparison.

The cars are more (distant) cousins than siblings, and far, far from the same
car with a diff't hood ornament.
