Wow. it's infantile to think that conservatives being for paying for ED pills
(the only reason for them is to have sex) and against paying for birth control
(their response is to tell women not to have sex) is hypocritical in the
extreme?

What a warped world view you have. If a liberal supports something, you're just
automatically against it. FWIW, the school Mugsy's talking about is essentially
a charter school...something that CONSERVATIVES implemented as a camel-nose
into the tent to defund public education, and constantly tout as the solution
to all our edumacation woes...except of course where those evil liberal facts
come in

Charter schools on the whole don't perform better than public schools, and
for-profit ones perform worse in many cases. We have that here in Arizona where
the guv has appointed the CEO of Intel to be on her education improvement
board. He's a BIG fan of charter schools, and is fond of pointing out how well
the BASIS schools do

compared to the average public school.

Well Harvard does a lot better than the average Podunk State U, too. When
compared to actual peer public institutions, like University High School
<http://edweb.tusd.k12.az.us/uhs/> it does about the same...for more money.
