I made an update to various things, Java, iPhoto. Updates installed successfully. Next time I open iPhoto I get a note saying it will now bring the photos up to speed. That was about four days ago. That was the last time I had access to my photos. Ever since then the application has been "Upgrading, Step 5 99% Complete." After 48 hours of same, I Force Quit and tried it again. and again. And now it's just sitting there mocking me, "Upgrading, 99% complete."
