"If you wouldn't have been there that night, none of this would have happened to you," Is not 'admonishing women to be vigilant in bars', it's telling the victim that she's responsible for the crime that was committed on her,just because she was female, in the bar, and happened to be an acquaintance of the man who criminally assaulted her.
