There was that guy in Washington that claimed they were causing global warming because they were exhaling all that CO2, and all the Agenda 21 wackaloons screaming that bike paths are the greased road to one world government? I commute by bike because it's CHEAP, not because I'm an eco-freak socialist hippie. I can park right next to my office without paying for a parking space, I fill up my car (now, with the diesel Jetta) every two months or so and my auto insurance is way cheaper because I'm not on the roads during rush hour. My car will last a hell of a lot longer, too, as will I because I get useful exercise daily, without having to pay for a gym, and it's a pleasant time every day where I have some time to think and enjoy the ride.
