That was my initial opinion from the presentation this summer.
That said, bright blocky colors and skinny skinny fonts are, apparently, what ALL the hip UI designers are wearing this year… We're test driving Exchange 2013 and Outpuke Online is all the same damned thing, skinny fonts kiddiegarten colors.
