Well that overlaps my stay in the area (1983-91). I never worked in the city, but Alison did, down on the West side around 40th street?, her boss did commercial real estate development and owned a paper factory, actually a paper pad factory. Her official title was ‘Minister Plenipotentiary’. This overlapped her working for Mike the illustrator. The actual facility is now part of the NY Medical College, I believe.
