I really like Panasonic's Lumix line. We have three of them and all have been outstanding performers for years. They have good lenses, and amazing optical zooms on 'em. The low end ones don't shoot RAW, but they're very nice cameras. <http://shop.panasonic.com/compare/?itemNbr=DMC-ZS20K&itemNbr=DMC-ZS25K&itemNbr=DMC-LX7K&itemNbr=DMC-ZS19K> Rumor has it that Leica's own digital cameras are basically Panasonic Lumixes with 'built-in-germany' lenses, a different body treatment and the ability to shoot RAW. -- Bruce Johnson "Wherever you go, there you are."
