Jeff Ferber commented on STS-399:
---------------------------------

The slash is escaped. If someone wants a trailing slash in their sparkly
clean-url parameter, they'll get a %2F.

A downside to requiring a trailing slash in the annotation (besides people
continuously forgetting to add it) is that generated links would pick it up.
Might cause problems:
http://www.mysite.com/path/to/bean/moohahah/?param1=hello

> @UrlBinding should ignore trailing slash

> Key: STS-399
> URL: http://mc4j.org/jira/browse/STS-399
> Project: Stripes
> Issue Type: Bug
> Components: ActionBean Dispatching
> Affects Versions: Release 1.5
> Environment: Stripes 1.5-trunk r587
> Reporter: Jeff Ferber
> Assigned To: Ben Gunter
> Priority: Minor
>
> Say you set up this clean url:
> @UrlBinding("/path/to/bean/{param}")
> The param will not bind if you include a trailing slash in the url:
> Works as expected (fantastic) without the trailing slash.
