No, there's certainly nothing wrong with an ActionBean inheriting from a base
class. I was just suggesting things to look at that might cause one event
handler to fire when you were expecting another. Even if this does turn out to
be an issue, I doubt it would be related to this filter since the filter just
passes off the request to DispatcherServlet, which is the same mechanism
Stripes normally uses.
