Frederic Daoud closed STS-541.

Resolution: Won't Fix
Fix Version/s: (was: Release 1.5.2)
(was: Release 1.6)
I think it is simple enough to just bind your values to a List property, and
just do whatever you want with them, including joining them as you described -
it would be a one liner.
> Create a "list" formatType

> Priority: Minor
>
> There is a OneToManyTypeConverter that can take the value of a text/area and
> convert it to a list, but there is no way to take a list and convert it to a
> value of a text/area. I suggest making a new formatType called "list" which
> will apply StringUtils.join on the contents of the list. The formatPattern
> could be something like ", " if you want to join every item together and have
> a comma between each item.
