Heya Freddy!,

Right on the spot. I wasn't understanding how HSQLDB could load a schema "on
the fly". Everything is clearer now.
I will try to play with MySQL (since my new project is going to be deployed
using it) and will keep you informed.

Got the hot deployment working. It was sorta of a kung fu action, but I
managed it. Since it was a looooooooong time I last worked on a java web
project, I was having a hard time getting the hang of it.

What I did was to use your Ant script from Stripes-Quickstart as a starting
point, changing the Ant script from the Stripes book, making the final
structure more "servlet" like and Tomcat like. At least the JSPs are being
deployed on the fly. Haven't tested the classes, but I will try it today.

Actually that's a good ideia for a book revision. It is somewhat frustrating
that all the projects in the book compiles and deploys alright if you're
deploying it as a WAR file, but not if you're deploying right from the
unpacked, compiled, directory structure. I think that changing/creating
another Ant script for an unpacked WAR web deployment from the code in the
book would be nice.

Let's go, more work to do today.
Cheers!
Fabio
