I wouldn't say there is any real 'bad blood', but if take a look at some of the struts 2 code, I believe you will find some really 'familiar' looking idea in there. I don't know if anyone on the stripes side was ever really bothered by it. And as far as struts 1 goes, well, who doesn't hate using that pile? =)
