Patches qualify as contributions to the code base, and I encourage everyone
to contribute those. At this time, looking at Bugzilla, I see a total of
three hits for Eddie - one code patch, one resources patch, and one doc
patch. For me personally, that does not provide a sufficient basis for a new
committer.
