No, it's ok - go ahead and say it.  You meant they should be shot :-) 
and I think that's probably true.

You're right.  I actually got to thinking more, based off your post - 
and Dave's too - and ... what I'm aiming for is "information sharing". 
 That could easily come in the form of composition.  So, I suppose I 
laced my suggestions with implementation details without really meaning 
to.  Sorry :-)
