LogFactory compile error with Commons Logging 1.0.2

Do we intend to be dependant on the commons-logging Nightly Build or
release 1.0.2?

Using 1.0.2, we expose

release() in org.apache.commons.logging.LogFactory cannot be applied to
(java.lang.ClassLoader)

But its fine with the logging Nightly Build.
