It's not an abuse of the page property. It's one of the reasons we put it there
in the first place. 

Though, adding a page name to go with the page number seems like a reasonable
feature to pursue (in the Commons).

In a Struts application, you could map the page (or "subform" name) to
ActionForwards. In some other application, they might be mapped to something else.
