The list of applications we ship now is
struts-blank struts-documentation (website) struts-example (MailReader) struts-exercise-taglib struts-template struts-upload struts-validator tiles-documentation
I would suggest we can reduce this list to
struts-blank struts-docs
by making the others modules to struts-docs, and adding an new module, struts-examples, based on Steve's application.
Template can be removed altoghether, I think. The content of Upload and Validator can be moved into the Examples module. So, I'd foresee four modules in struts-docs
examples exercise-taglibs mailreader website
At first there would probably be a tiles-docs module too, but it's possible that we can reduce those to a section in the examples module.
I think the examples approach to demonstrating how to do things will be more effective than what we are doing now, with only a small additional investment of effort. The source page gives you a place to show how it all fits together, and also to add notes if necessary.
