I have some interest in JetSpeed as it is the portal that is being
evaluated by the US Navy to be their enterprise portal (most of our
contracts here in Hawaii are with the US Navy). I tried to get struts
working with it, but with Jetspeed 2.0, JSR 168, etc on the horizon, I put
that project off. Besides, from my initial investigation, tight
integration would require Struts to be more servlet-independent, sorta
like xwork, which if it happens, is a long way off I'd guess. I settled
with using stxx to expose pages as XML to be transformed later in
a portlet. Not the best performer, but it is does let me reuse my app w/o
having to rewrite or duplicate any Java code.

However, with JSR 168 getting closer to finalization and Struts 1.1 out
the door, perhaps I'll give it another wack. I'm a big fan of integrating
existing technologies and tighter Struts integration with Jetspeed would
be a good target I think.
