I have to add my 2cents on this dicussion. I've been using eclipse for the past 3 months, and I absolutely love it. If you get the right plugins, you can customize it for whatever development you are doing. You can find a list of plugins for Eclipse at: http://eclipse-plugins.2y.net/eclipse/index.jsp.
I highly recommend it if you don't have the resources to purchase one of the higher end tools.
