ArgoUML, while impressive in its potential, is not ready for prime time. I have investigated this tool and found it to be extremely buggy, although to be fair I haven't tried it in a few months. I gave up on it after it corrupted my .zargo file -- which contained about 20 diagrams -- after doing a simple save. I restored from CVS, only to have it do it again a few days later.

Potentially good, but not yet.

ArgoUML isn't being developed anymore. I think developer changed ArgoUML to
Poseidon ` http://www.gentleware.com/ '

I downloaded the community edition and works well on Linux and WinXP.
I haven't found the UML class diagram generator yet. I had an old
version of Together/J/C++ whiteboard on my old work PC 1999 that imported
C++ code and build a class structure diagram completely.

Too slow, I said. Delete, I said. Gone, I said."
