Thanks, it solved the problem. Not all of them, though :). Clisp-compiled Stumpwm has problems with the characters outside Latin-1 range. So, the window with the word "façade" in the title is displayed in the window list as "faA§ade". Cyrillic titles are displayed as "D-D D'DuDoN". Clisp features include :UNICODE.
