Your HD picture suddenly breaks up into little pixels right in the middle of the action sequence, ruining the viewing experience. The cause of this breakup of the image is too much data going down to narrow a pipeline. Gigabit HD content, particuarly the next generation of 1080p content, will demand a new pipeline. You just crossed over into the fiber optic zone. PureLink's DVI and HDMI Fiber Optic cable systems are capable of delivering all the data, without loss or error, up to 395 feet from the source. Copper cables have impedance of 28 ohms. The upgrade copper models are 24 ohm. Occassionally, you might find a really premium design with 21 ohms. The problem is resistance and all copper cables have it. No matter what you read, the only way to get rid of pixelization permantly is with fiber optics.
