that's my bad, because i was thinking of semicolons at the time. i think the rule for both colon and semicolon is to capitalize the word after them only if there are more than one sentence which follow in that same context. in the above case: CCR: do something is correect but if it had 2 sentences this is the correct way: CCR: Do something.
