I would love it if Fedora just dropped Subsurface instead. The user experience using upstream Marble and upstream libdivecomputer is just inconsistent with what the user gets when using our binaries.
Given that this is open source software I can of course not tell you what to do, but it would be the preference of the Subsurface team if Fedora no longer included the package. /D On Fri, Apr 24, 2015 at 10:30:25AM -0500, Rex Dieter wrote: > Since marble commit: > https://projects.kde.org/projects/kde/kdeedu/marble/repository/revisions/ac91cf9f27c355754fd7e8c6df9256a753cb8545 > > to make qt4/qt5 libmarblewidget builds parallel-installable, changes are > required to link libmarblewidget-qt5 > > Here's a reference to the fix we are currently using in fedora to adapt > subsurface to this new scheme: > > http://pkgs.fedoraproject.org/cgit/subsurface.git/tree/Subsurface-4.4.1-marblewidget-qt5.patch > > -- Rex > > _______________________________________________ > subsurface mailing list > [email protected] > http://lists.subsurface-divelog.org/cgi-bin/mailman/listinfo/subsurface _______________________________________________ subsurface mailing list [email protected] http://lists.subsurface-divelog.org/cgi-bin/mailman/listinfo/subsurface
