I've just downloaded the latest build and again am looking at PPO2 on CCR dives.
I have a dive loaded that although is CCR, it does not contain any PPO2
therefore I assume the planner calculates PPO2 based on the preferences.
The PPO2 display still shows a unlikely senario in that there is a gradient in
the PPO2 right at the start.
Looking at what information there is for the program to calculate this, I
assume that it uses air at the surface and then holds the PPO2 once it reaches
the default CCR setpoint , however in normal eCCR, there are two set points.
The lower value is for surface or shallow operations, the higher value for
normal diving.
If you added a low set point box and change depth to the preferences, that
would give you the initial setpoint from the surface and the depth at which the
higher set point would apply. That would also bring subsurface more in line
with how dive computers usually deal with PPO2 when there isnt an oxygen cell
input.
