Hi,

we have complained in the past about Deepblu and their Cosmiq+ dive computers
being walled gardens that like to collect their users dives but don’t have any
way to export the data.

Turns out, that walled garden doesn’t have a fence in the back.

I just learned that there is

https://github.com/bluppfisk/deepblu-tools by [email protected] (in
CC)

a python script that downloads the data from there and exports it in UDDF.
Reading the source, it turns out, deebblu has an api that spits out dive data
without authentification, for example see my sample dive on

https://prodcdn.tritondive.co/apis/discover/v0/post/search?postType=divelog&userId=589c6cf0edf5136b4d8b4567

All you need to know is the hex string user id (which is public, it can be
found in the url when looking at somebody else’s profile). So, if we were
willing to parse json, it shouldn’t be too hard to import data from their
webpage… Any volunteers?

Best
Robert
