Frankly, I would love to add network support but that's a lot of work. I am almost alone working on the core of GCompris and I can only do it on my spare time. Based on the current situation, I don't believe I will work on this soon. Concerning the journal, there are only 2 GCompris activities that would benefit from it, the word processor and the vector drawing and animation. We can exclude the word processor because there is already a better one on the OLPC.
