Dear sugar developers, I've been looking for easily modifiable UI "features" that feel to me to be less than snappy. Compositing support has made animation of the frame into one of these "features"; therefore, here is a patch that removes it for your experimental consideration. Feel free to apply it (or to ignore it) as your preferences dictate.
