Hello,
I want to run a simulation in which I have 10 road segments (edges). Along
specific edges I want to define that different number of vehicles run each
edge.
In rou.xml file I define the above flows as following
<flow id=“1" type="1" from="1" to=“2" begin="75600" end="79200"
vehsPerHour=“100" departLane="best" departSpeed="max"/>
<flow id=“2" type="1" from=“3" to=“4" begin="75600" end="79200"
vehsPerHour=“200" departLane="best" departSpeed="max"/>
<flow id=“3" type="1" from=“5" to=“6" begin="75600" end="79200"
vehsPerHour="180" departLane="best" departSpeed="max"/>
<flow id=“4" type="1" from=“7" to=“8" begin="75600" end="79200"
vehsPerHour=“230" departLane="best" departSpeed="max"/>
<flow id=“5" type="1" from=“9" to=“10" begin="75600" end="79200"
vehsPerHour=“250" departLane="best" departSpeed="max"/>
With the above flows I want to define the following
from edge 1to 2 100 vehicles running. In the following, the vehicles increase
to 200 until the edge 4. Then, the vehicles decrease to 180 until the edge 6
etc.
I understand that with the above flows I do not get the desired vehicle flows
since in the summary output I get that 960 vehicles have been loaded while the
real average number of loaded vehicles should be 192.
Could you please tell me how I have to define the flows?
