Thank you Jakob for your help. I have a follow up question on 'SetDecel' function.
When I'm trying to bring the speed back up, the vehicle won't accelerate when Decel = 0. And lower acceleration rate was found with lower deceleration value. Once the deceleration value was restored to the original value (4.5), the vehicle speed was restored as previous condition. setSpeed was set as -1 so the vehicle was no longer under the influence of any speed function. I was wondering how the deceleration value affects the acceleration rate in SUMO.
